Job Description:
Expression Networks is looking for a full time Entry-to-Mid level Software Developer to join a Development Team in McLean, VA. Working independently and within a team, the Developer will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle for custom .NET/ SQL Server applications in support of a Department of Defense customer and sundry commercial clientele. Developer will also be required to maintain existing web-based applications in a variety of commonly used languages and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one year related work experience
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principals
  • Experience with the .NET framework – 2.0 or later
  • Experience writing SQL scripts (Views, Stored Procedures, etc.)
  • Experience developing Web-based applications including knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, HTTP request lifecycle, maintaining state, etc.

    • Preferred:

  • Experience working with ASP.NET, C# (preferred), or VB.Net
  • Experience with Microsoft server products including SQL Server 2005/2008 and IIS 6.0/7.0

    • Salary:
    $55,000/year
